We don't. Listing order on category pages reflects raw count and category membership only — no vendor pays to outrank a free alternative. The same principle applies to comparisons: the side that lands on the left is purely URL-driven, not editorial.

Every product is sourced from publicly-licensed catalogs that allow redistribution under attribution:

We use it the way the open-source community does: a tool that replicates the core workflow of a paid SaaS without the subscription. That means most alternatives are self-hostable; some also offer a managed cloud edition which we call out on the product page. We don't pretend open-source is free — there's always an ops cost. The comparison pages spell out the trade-offs honestly.
